Sandalwood Fragrance Oil

I asked a friend where she got her sandalwood and she told me Nemat. She even gave me the last bit from her old bottle as a sample and it was truly wonderful - even the empty jar smelled amazing.

So I promptly bought a bottle for myself. However, the product I got barely smells like anything. I keep applying and sniffing and well, nothing. Pretty disappointed

I blind-bought a few perfumes online and hoped this one would lean more toward a santal vibe, but it really doesn’t. On first application I get, no joke, a mix of pine and something uncomfortably urine like. That sharp note fades a bit over time, but nothing particularly pleasant takes its place. I even tried layering it, but it didn’t help much. Unfortunately, this one just isn’t for me. I can't recommend it to anyone male or female.

Love the smell, wear it daily.

This is a creamy, casual, and calming scent that I feel like I can melt into whenever I have it on. Sandalwood is more associated with men but I feel like this would wear well on anyone.
