Amber Fragrance Oil

I never bought my own perfume oil from here, but my sister frequently bought from here and I was interested in the product. The roll on Amber perfume smelled amazing, lasted long, and was supposedly very inexpensive the last time I checked. That was, until I saw the ridiculous price increase on both here and Ulta. How a product can go from 8-9 dollars to 20-21 in the span of a few weeks is absolutely ridiculous. The appeal of the product was the quality for the price. I’m positive it is just going to get more expensive, but the formula will change to make the scent last for a shorter time requiring you to buy the product more frequently. I’m not sure if the tariffs had an effect on this, because that makes things very different. I’m sure it has something to do with it’s increased popularity on TikTok, but like many other things on TikTok, your popularity will come and go and you’ll be left with a mediocre product and no more loyal customers because of your greed. I’m very disappointed in this company, as I thought it valued accessibility and ethics, but clearly it just like every other company that values greed/profit and not its customers.

The quality of this product has gone down the toilet! There is absolutely no scent to it anymore. And no all of these negative comments are not just from people becoming nose blind to it! Quality has decreased significantly and your company will take a big hit for it soon unless you change something ASAP!!! very disappointing!!! Will never buy again!

I received my bottles today, and I agree with the reviews that I read unfortunately after the fact. I wish I read the reviews prior to buying. Barely smell, Amber, it is so sad. I will never purchase from this company again.

I bought the perfume discovery kit in Ulta. I had fallen in love with the scent of Amber following a recent trip to Morocco and tried to find something similar in the States. This Amber perfume discovery kit has been a total disappointment. I barely smell anything. I am once again on the hunt for a true , exotic and sensual Amber smell. Nemat does not have it.

I think I know why some people these days are thrilled with their purchase and why so many are frustrated and heartbroken, like me. I’ve noticed that the huge amount of complaints here started happening not too long after the Amber fragrance oil went viral on social media. Here’s what happened: They gave into greed. Corporate saw an opportunity to make huge bank. To try and satisfy the suddenly massive spike in demand, but not have to pay more money for more of the ingredients needed, they started to severely cut back the usual amount of the actual fragrance going into the carrier oil.
At first, there were still hoards of bottles of the original strength still out there to buy, so it wasn’t a big deal… not at that time. But because it went viral, crowds of people started snatching these up, with glowing reviews. Only a few of the scentless ones were out at that time. Now, several years later, there are very few bottles of the original strength out there, and tons of the scentless ones. This explains why currently only a few folks nowadays are leaving glowing reviews… they’re lucky enough to have purchased one of the increasingly rare bottles that actually contain the original product.
Yes, you can become anosmic (nose blind) to this scent. That happens sometimes with certain scents worn daily, and the same thing happens to me with Bacarrat Rouge 540. But it’s an easy fix, because all one has to do is take a break from wearing it for about a week. After that, when you wear it again, you can smell it! Easy peasy. That’s all I used to have to do to be able to smell my Nemat Amber oil again. But my current minaret and roll on bottles? — NOTHING. ZERO. If you have to increase the price a few bucks to make more of the original product, I feel I can safely speak for most people that we’ll gladly pay it, if it means we can finally get back the high quality Amber fragrance you used to supply!

Nemat, this is shameful. Shameful for what you’ve done, for what you’re clearly still doing, and for directing your customer service reps to patronize and gaslight your customers into thinking the problem lies with them, when it obviously doesn’t. We, your loyal customers, are not the problem. The problem lies with you and the new low quality product.
So. What are you going to do about it?
