Amber Fragrance Oil

I am so confused. Did the most recent shipments and batches of this perfume oil and perfume not get made correctly? Formula change? I’ve smelt this on several people and loved it, so I went and bought it. I can barely smell the perfume and the roller ball oil has absolutely no scent. NONE! I’ve asked several people if they could smell it and they said no.

I asked a good friend of mine what she was wearing because it smelled amazing and she referred me to this stuff. I had to go out and buy some for myself. The first day I had it it smelled great, then the next day when I went to put it on there was NO SMELL! I even asked my husband if he smelled anything and he said nope, nothing. Even putting my nose up to the rollerball results in nothing. I am a brand new customer and after being so excited to buy this fragrance, I am very disappointed in the money I spent for some scentless oil. Like all the other customer reviews on here, put the amber scent back in your product please!

I know Nemat is denying that the formula has changed, but there's absolutely no way this is the same formula as before. Something has changed. Maybe their Amber supplier is giving them a weaker product and they don't notice?

I used to be able to smell this on myself throughout the day, get compliments daily, smell it on my dirty laundry days and days later... I had a good 3 years of wearing the perfect fragrance.

Now? I might catch the faintest whiff of it. I can barely smell it while I'm putting it on and definitely can't smell it by the end of the day. People can't smell it on me either, unless they smell me immediately while I'm putting it on. If I ask someone else to smell me a few hours later, they can't smell anything at all. Sometimes the bottle is just rancid and you get zero amber smell at all.

Nemat insisted that I had "nose blindness" so I stopped using the fragrance for six months... guess what? Nothing changed. One bottle already went rancid, even though it's being stored in a dark drawer. The other bottle has the same faint smell of Amber, but it's not strong or long lasting enough.

I'm sad and disappointed. They really did have the perfect fragrance for a while there, and they ruined it. Part of me wants to buy another bottle to see if they've improved anything, it's been about 8 months since I purchased my last bottle, but I haven't been happy with the product since 2023. Something changed during COVID, which isn't a surprise since there were so many supply chain issues during this time. A lot of companies received inferior quality of supplies, and many of those companies never got their product back to the same level of quality that they had pre-COVID. I need the company to start taking these complaints seriously and find a way to improve the product. There are SO many angry customers, just around the Amber product, but they just seem to be ignoring us.

I’ve been wearing this scent for about 4-5 years now and the formula has changed, at least the ones sold at Ulta have. I would buy this size or the roll-on. Once I ordered the Eau De Parfum last year and first noticed that the scent was much lighter and did not last as long. I had a roll-on during the same time that I was using and there was a vast difference. I recently purchased another roll-on bottle and it’s the same thing, light and short lived. This is a disappointment. I LOVED the his scent and got MANY compliments before. Now, not so much.

I bought my first bottle of Nemat Amber in late 2015/early 2016. I was obsessed and the scent was so concentrated. It has been weaker with every bottle I have purchased since. Sad, because it smells great. But it doesn't stick around on my skin for even a fraction of the time it used to. I will probably look around for something similar smelling.
