"Attarwala" means possessor of perfumes in Urdu. As a family we have been practicing the art of attar-making for over 170 years, which means our sourcing relationships, blending knowledge, and understanding of raw materials have been passed down through generations.

Attars more commonly known as Perfume Oils in the west are not a trend for Nemat, it is the tradition on which we are built. Our perfume oils are alcohol-free, with a touch of jojoba, and designed to sit close to the skin, evolving with your body chemistry in the intimate and personal way that oil-based Indian perfumery has always intended

Rare ingredients, made accessible

Nemat's generational relationships with raw material suppliers mean genuine ingredients like sustainably harvested Indian Sandalwood, Jasmine Sambac from South India, Bulgarian lavender and Rose Absolute and Oil never have to be a luxury. Making our family’s know-how and craft accessible has always been our intention
